As a 13-year veteran of the newsroom, I think audience-first and remain data-informed.
I have experience covering Wall Street, equities, financial policy and regulation, and cryptocurrency and blockchain for S&P Global, MT Newswires and CoinDesk.
I possess the know-how to combine aggregation, reporting and speed to produce stories that are unbiased, properly sourced and cover all the angles. In my writing or when I'm editing, I value plain speaking over jargon while remaining efficient with wordcount.
As a newsroom manager, I have led diverse teams across three offices with empathy and to measurable success. I mentor and coach writers with an eye toward getting them ready for more advanced roles. I've also been part of the recruitment and onboarding processes.
When not pushing out stories and meeting deadlines, I like to travel, play football or fire up my PlayStation.
